GAME ROOMS, GAMEROOMS
The Discovery Lodge & Gallery has approximately 6000 sq. ft. of living space, and has an additional 2000 sq. ft. of wood decks for the guests’ enjoyment. There are 7 bedrooms, with three master bedroom suites. There are 61/2 baths. You enter the Discovery Lodge & Gallery through 19thCentury English stained glass door with stained glass side panels into the entry hall and into the sitting room and dining room with a fireplace. Beautiful original art enhances the pleasure of being in this unforgettable setting. These rooms have spectacular views of the mountains and forest, and they open on to a deck with two tables, a new grill, and a great view to go with your meal. There is a hot tub behind you on the deck for your relaxing time. Hot tub is on the lower deck on the game room level. There is a large, 48’x 27’, game room with a pool table, ping pong table, a children’s game table with foosball & 20 other games, a 67” TV with DVD & a stereo system that plays CD, tapes, & LP records. The acoustics in this cedar room with 19’ ceilings are amazing, and the surround sound adds to your listening pleasure. The game room has a fireplace, has incredible views through huge windows, and the room opens up on a very large deck for outdoor enjoyment. There is a designer bunk bed, which in the day is a futon couch, and at night is a standard bed with a twin bed top bunk. All mattresses are new. We also have a new deluxe inflatable king size bed for additional needs. The game room has a refrigerator, a sink, a full bath, and fun art and outstanding stained glass. Enjoy!! Quiet time is available in our secluded library. In addition to interesting and beautiful books, we have over 100 VCR movies, golf instruction tapes, and educational tapes. We also have DVD movies & CDs. The Lodge & Gallery is located in the beautifully wooded private gated-community called Skylake, which has many amenities for your enjoyment. The Skylake amenities include boating, canoes, hiking trails (one leads to a waterfall which is a great spot for a picnic), an Olympic size swimming pool tennis courts, fishing, and a gym with a full basketball court. The best amenities are the beautiful mountain & forest vistas.

The Angel Chateau Master Bedroom Suite is 48’x27’ room with cedar and pine walls, wood floors, and 15’ ceilings, additionally it has French doors that open on to a private deck with outstanding vistas of the mountains and forest. It has a Jacuzzi tub with a Frank Lloyd Wright stained glass window, and a 19thCentury stained glass privacy sliding door. You enter this Angel Chateau room from the dining room through a 19thCentury English stained glass door and you immediately see on the far wall a 19thCentury English stained glass picture of angels, and next to it are two 17th Century Italian paintings of angels. There is also other great art in this room. Discovery Lodge & Gallery has over 200 pieces of original art for your living pleasure. The Angel Chateau Bedroom is furnished with antiques where you can sit in front of the fireplace and have your coffee or breakfast with great mountain views. The King size bed & bedroom set, however is brand new, and is a Cheery Carved French set. There is also another French stained glass window in the Angel Chateau room. This room has huge windows in which you can see out, but which cannot be seen in, and the effect is the feeling that you are living in the forest with spectacular views. For your convenience there are two large closets, and there is an artist carved chess table with artist carved chess pieces. This is a one of a kind room where you fall asleep looking at the mountains and forest and you awake in your new bed with the same spectacular views.

The Art Nouveau Flower Room is a Master Bedroom suite in which the style is art nouveau and the motif is floral. This suite is both large and comfortable and measures 61’x14.’ There are six stained glass windows depicting flowers, and the outstanding art in this room is art nouveau. The bedroom furniture is also art nouveau, and there is a brand new mattress on the bed. The best feature is that the bed faces a view of the woods and mountains, and there is a sliding glass door opening on to the deck for continuing great views. You enter this room through a bevel glass door with a floral motif. There is also a table and chairs for your morning coffee enjoyment. The room is made of pine and has a bathroom with a shower. You fall asleep with great views and awake from a good night’s sleep on your new mattress to a great view.

The Classic Master Bedroom Suite faces the mountains and forests and it has sliding glass doors that open onto the deck for continuing great views of nature. The Classic Bedroom is 27’x14’ and it has a fire place. There is a Jacuzzi tub with blinds that gives you both privacy and a beautiful view of the woods. There is a brand new king size mattress for your sleeping comfort, and there is a large closet for your convenience. The Classic Bedroom is decorated with eight pictures by the famous Spanish artist Alvar, including three works from his acclaimed Bible Suite. The other art in the room continues a Mediterranean motif, and the bedroom furniture is Mediterranean style. The Classic is an attractive and comfortable bedroom.

The Old-Fashion Georgia Bedroom faces the woods and fountains, and has a sliding glass door opening onto the deck for continuing beautiful vistas of nature. The room is decorated with art depicting rural scenes such as barns, deer, home interior scenes, and landscapes. There is a Queen size bed & bedroom set, plus a table and two chairs for your morning coffee. It is a charming and comfortable room with great views.

The Terrace Bedroom has a King size bed facing great views of nature. You can exit your room onto the balcony deck, which afford beautiful views of the woods & mountains. The room is decorated with a harmonizing blend of contemporary art and landscapes that are similar to the views from the room. The Terrace Room has a large closet, and two comfortable arm chairs. It is a very livable and comfortable room.

The Western Room is so named because it is the favorite bedroom of our contractor. It has pine and cedar walls and a wood floor. The room has very colorful lights and very colorful art. It has two twin beds and an antique bench. It is a cozy, comfortable and a fun room.

The Cloister Bedroom is a quiet comfortable bedroom with a beautiful piece of stained glass, which adds to the tranquil atmosphere. The walls are pine and cedar, and it has a wood floor. There is a table and two chairs and plenty of reading material in the Cloister Bedroom. Currently there is one twin bed in this room, but there is ample space for another bed. This a very comfortable, cozy, and tranquil room.

The Kitchen is large, has plenty of cabinets and counter space, it is well equipped, and has a microwave as well as a range and oven. The kitchen is conveniently located, is light and airy with views of the mountains and forest, and has sliding glass door access to the deck that has the new grill. And the kitchen has two pieces of stained glass to enhance its attractiveness.
