$325 per night – Week Rate $1500 – Cleaning $135
2 Night Minimum
The Swig is a 3-year-old log cabin that sits high atop Tray Mountain just minutes from where the Appalachian Trail crosses. It is the perfect place to escape from the frantic pace of Atlanta and is great for relaxation, reading, hiking and reuniting with family and friends. The town of Helen, just 15 minutes away, offers an endless array of activities. The owners have made a conscious decision to forgo television, so peace and quiet reign. There is a wonderful Bose radio/CD to provide music. Enjoy the cool mountain breezes and amazing view from rocking chairs on the front or back porches or under the huge outdoor patio complete with outdoor fireplace. The 4 bedroom/2 bath cabin sleeps 12 and is ideal for several couples or 2 families to share. It has been popular with youth groups and for hosting seminars. Due to the sharp incline of the gravel driveway a truck or SUV is recommended but front wheel vehicles make it up fine.
